The MR Detail window lists the values of each of the attributes for this MR entry as stored in the database.

Select the "File" menu item to perform operations on the MR as described below:

Save

Select this item to save any changes you have made to any fields in this window. If no changes have been made, you will be notified that a save is not needed.

Print

Select this item to Browse the MR, Save the MR to a file, or print the MR on a printer.

Delete

Select this item if you are the MR creator and you want to remove the MR from the COMPAS database.

Description

Edit the MR description file. Only the person assigned, originator, or project librarian has permission to edit a description file. A new editor window with the description text will be displayed. When you have finished editing the text, save the text and quit the editor.

Resolution

Edit the MR resolution file. Only the person assigned, or project librarian has permission to edit the resolution file. A new editor window with the resolution text will be displayed. When you have finished editing the text, save the text and quit the editor.

Change Status

Select this option to change the status of the MR. Meanings of the status values can be found by pressing "Help" in the new window which appears when you select this option.

Annotate

Make an annotation to an MR description. Anyone is allowed to annotate an MR. A new editor window will be displayed. When you have finished adding your annotation, save the text and quit the editor. The annotation is then appended to the description file and is preceded by a line that describes who made the annotation and when it was made. Electronic mail will be automatically sent to the originator and person assigned to notify them of the annotation. The history file will also be updated.

Description

Select this option to browse the description of the MR.

Resolution

Select this option to browse the resolution of the MR.

History

Select this option to browse the history file of the MR. This file contains a list of the dates, times, and logins of people who have made changes to the MR.

Select "Help" from the main menu to learn how to navigate forms and menus and also how to select items with the mouse.
