Document Print Defaults

• Default Printer - enter your network printer address. COMPAS can only communicate with network printers, although you may print from the Acrobat Reader to a local pc printer. Do not input a geographic location prefix to the printer address. Use only lower-case alphabetical characters in the printer address, and do not use any dashes or slashes. An example of a valid Holmdel printer address is: 1d609a.
• Get Open MRs - MRs will accompany printed document
• Print Double Sided - if your printer is 2-side capable
• Holes in Paper - usually kodak computer center printer only

Document Defaults

• Get Open MRs - MRs Accompany Document When Obtaining (Copying)

• Test Browse, Notification - When Uploading (Delivering)

Choose either Java Metal (Cross platform) or System look and feel. The default is Java Metal.

Startup

To specify what you want to start when you login to the COMPAS.

Temp Directory: The specified directory will be used when browsing or editing on the client computer. Please be certain that there is sufficient disk space available.

Skip COMPAS Login Checking this option will automatically log the user into COMPAS using the default login information

4 Digit Upgrade Notification Checking this option will include the user in the notification process when 4-Digit COMPAS version upgrades are available - for example, v1.0.6.2 is a 4-Digit version upgrade

Number of Recently Accessed COMPAS ID's to show in the Main Window File Drop-down Menu: the default value is 5.
