How To Write An MR (Modification Request)

 

MRs are Modification Requests written against documents in COMPAS.

It is important for you to discuss MR methodology with your own Project Manager, because procedures are very different between projects.

To initiate a new MR, you need to:

  • Go to the COMPAS Document Management System Main Window and click: the Create New MR button.

    Or, an alternative method is:

  • Search for the document against which you will write an MR
  • Go to the Document Detail Window for that document
  • Initiate the new MR from that Document Detail Window
